Why "Out of Ashes"

Every day across the globe, a woman loses hope to depression, anxiety, self-harm, eating disorders, suicide, domination, violence, war, cancer, addiction, rape, fear, mediocrity, shame, guilt, infidelity or excruciating pain. Every passing glance, a girl loses dignity and every form of self-respect. Every minute a number of woman loses faith and sight of reaching their full potential; they settles for the next job, proposal, or opportunity that comes by. It’s a challenge to be a woman and to assume the role of a mother, parent, wife or carer.

There are those around us who seek love genuinely and get battered in return. There are those who move from one mistake to another. Even, we are ourselves are not caught off this bait.

Many things around us sap hope out of us. Women now work from job to job, in an unsatisfying role just to foot the bill, struggle to make ends meet or support a loved one. We have our constant battle with health, weight, or just to measure up to someone’s expectations. It’s not getting better around us; the community is collapsing around us and our homes are deteriorating. The family structure is broken to pieces and the news around us won’t get better. Women need support when they are down, tired and confused.

Thank you for taking time to explore this project. I hope you would participate.
