This past year, everything had fallen apart in Cindy’s life. A misunderstanding with her boss caused her to lose her job. Her two-year relationship with her boyfriend had ended. Her car was destroyed when a drunk ran a stop sign. Now, her house has burned down.
The frustrations and pressures seem to be overwhelming. She asks herself, "How can I overcome this? Not only is there no light at the end of the tunnel, the tunnel seems to be collapsing all around me."

We all go through troubling times at some point in our lives, although at vary degrees. We are all a product of one event or the other, irrespective of the outcome. There are circumstances in our lives that have formed our decisions, choices, thoughts, whether to be or never to be. Some of us rise out of the ashes while others get lost, lose faith or hope in the process. There are many women going through “the fire”; a circumstance that is just about consuming them. A number of us are tired, afraid, full of self-doubt or frustrated about a situation. There are people around us that wake up to the thought of suicide and those who sleep without the hope of tomorrow. At times, it is just a voice in the head, other times; it is situations that drive one to the near end. Personally, I have been through times that have nearly consumed me; situations that have hindered me from being the woman I want to be or God want me to be....
